Buzzer is a mobile-first sports media startup built around a bold vision: to redefine live sports consumption by delivering only the moments that matter — buzzer-beaters, game-winners, overtime plays — in real time. To stand out in the crowded streaming space, Buzzer partnered with Legacy to lead strategic fundraising, business development, and marketing/PR — with a strong emphasis on leveraging high-impact athlete and creator investors. Through our deep celebrity network, we helped secure some of the biggest names in sports and entertainment as strategic backers. We also co-developed the At The Buzzer content campaign — a year-long series of long-form interviews that featured LaMelo Ball, Sabrina Ionescu, Arike Ogunbowale, and DeAndre Hopkins which allowed each partner to tell Buzzer’s story in their own voice, amplifying press coverage, cultural resonance, and audience engagement.
Buzzer’s momentum was further validated by support and investment from global icons like Michael Jordan, Naomi Osaka, Patrick Mahomes, Wayne Gretzky, J. Cole, Kevin Durant, and leading tech figures.
