For Google Pixel, “Score on Santa” was more than a holiday activation — it was a cultural moment designed to showcase the Pixel 8’s Best Take feature through real-world storytelling. Set at Venice Beach, the campaign blended streetball culture, surprise-and-delight interactions, and festive energy with product utility. The Professor, disguised as Santa, challenged fans to 1-on-1 games on the HoopBus, while attendees captured custom Pixel photo moments that highlighted the phone’s advanced camera capabilities. It was a strategic move to build brand love by showing, not telling — bringing Pixel directly into the hands (and feeds) of the community.
Legacy played a key production role in bringing this moment to life, in partnership with The Robot Co, The Hoop Bus, and This Was Major Media. From coordinating with all the production partners, producing the live experience and crowd flow to capturing gameplay, stylized content, and surprise reveals, our team ensured every piece hit the mark.
