All-Star Soirée
The inaugural Africa All-Star Soirée at NBA All-Star Weekend: NBA Africa as a culture brand, not a sports brand.
The brief
A league office does not throw a party. A culture brand does.
Legacy produced the inaugural Africa All-Star Soirée during NBA All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles. The brief was positioning: NBA Africa as a curator across basketball, fashion, art and the diaspora, rather than a league office with a guest list.
Legacy sourced and secured Lucia LA, a new Caribbean fine-dining room on Fairfax, so the food matched the argument. The night doubled as a platform for African design — showcases from Adama Paris and Maxhosa, staged at the scale of the room rather than a runway.
