Close Friends Only is Instagram’s original series: pairs and groups who actually know each other, talking inside what the show calls the green circle of trust. Legacy produced the talent for one episode — Timothée Chalamet with Josh Hart and Jalen Brunson.
The throughline was already there to be found. Chalamet is a lifelong Knicks fan. Hart and Brunson were at the top of their game, and it was shot before the season they won the championship.
Legacy negotiated the deal, the deliverables and the deal points directly with all three management teams, coordinated the episode end to end including location, worked with the production agency through the edit, and handled promotion logistics against the Marty Supreme release window.
